Head of People Operations, USA
We’re hiring a Regional Head of People Operations (USA) to lead all People Operations activities across the United States. You will oversee People Operations, Employee Relations, Payroll, Global Mobility, and People Compliance for the region. You will ensure a consistent, compliant, high-quality employee experience while partnering closely with senior leaders to support growth in the US market.
Key Responsibility - People Operations
- Lead end-to-end People Operations for the US region, ensuring efficient, scalable, and consistent processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Implement and maintain high-quality operational workflows, documentation, and data governance.
- Partner with People partners in USA to drive employee experience
Key Responsibility - Employee Relations (ER)
- Own ER case management, including investigations, performance issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
- Ensure all ER activity complies with local, federal, and state employment laws.
- Coach managers on ER matters and proactively identify ER risks and work with regional People partners to manage and educate business
Key Responsibility - Payroll
- Own end-to-end US payroll operations across multiple states, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Manage benefits, tax considerations, and statutory reporting in partnership with Finance
Key Responsibility - Global Mobility
- Manage US immigration, visas, sponsorships, relocations, and inbound/outbound assignments.
- Advise leadership on compliance, tax, and risk related to mobility decisions with Rewards team
Key Responsibility - People Compliance
- Lead the global ER framework, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant case management.
- Provide senior guidance on disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, and performance matters.
- Build ER capability through training, playbooks, and governance structures.
Experience and Skills
- 10-12 years strong People Operations leadership experience across the US.
- Deep understanding of federal and state employment laws, payroll, and benefits.
- Strong ER case management experience.
- Experience managing mobility and immigration processes.
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
