RevenueCat removes the headaches of building and scaling in‑app subscriptions. Since graduating from YC’s S18 batch we’ve grown into the default monetization platform for mobile: we’re in >40% of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $12B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo dev in Brazil to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue.

We’re a remote‑first crew of 150+, spread across 25+ countries, and guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance. If you want your work to touch hundreds of millions of end‑users (and help the developers behind them get paid), you’ll fit right in.

We have built a culture centered around ownership, high standards, and customer focus. We’re obsessed with exceptional talent density, and know that it’s critical to our mission.

As RevenueCat continues to grow, the company is investing heavily in the people, systems, and infrastructure to scale.

The role:

RevenueCat is looking for a Head of People to lead talent and people strategy during a pivotal stage of growth. Reporting to the VP of Strategy & Operations, this leader will oversee both Recruiting and People Operations across the organization.

Recruiting is the most immediate area of focus. As RevenueCat scales, the company is looking for someone who can build a world-class recruiting function while also helping evolve broader people programs, organizational design, performance management, and leadership development efforts.

This is a hands-on leadership role. RevenueCat is looking for someone who enjoys operating at both the strategic and tactical levels and who wants to help shape how a rapidly growing company attracts, develops, and retains exceptional talent.

The Head of People will lead:

  • A growing People team spanning Recruiting and People Operations

  • Two recruiters today and a recruiting coordinator, with additional hiring planned in the near term

  • Two dedicated People Operations team members

  • Talent and people strategy for a globally distributed organization of 150+ employees

Other responsibilities will be:

  • Build and execute a recruiting strategy that supports significant organizational growth while maintaining talent density.

  • Improve hiring manager effectiveness, candidate experience, and recruiting operations.

  • Partner with executives on workforce planning, organizational design, and leadership development.

  • Continue evolving RevenueCat's performance management and talent development programs.

  • Build scalable systems and processes that support a globally distributed workforce.

  • Partner closely with Finance on compensation, headcount planning, and organizational investments.

  • Leverage automation and AI-enabled workflows to improve recruiting and people operations.

  • Develop metrics and reporting that improve visibility into hiring performance and organizational health.

  • Help maintain and strengthen RevenueCat's culture as the company scales.

About you:

You are a builder.

You enjoy creating systems, processes, and teams from the ground up. You know when structure is needed, when simplicity is better, and how to scale organizations without creating unnecessary complexity.

You are talent-obsessed.

You believe exceptional companies are built by exceptional people. You have strong judgment around talent and know how to build recruiting systems that consistently attract and close high-performing candidates.

You are hands-on.

You don't view leadership as delegation. You're comfortable rolling up your sleeves, solving problems directly, and operating wherever the business needs you most.

You are operationally minded.

You use data to inform decisions, build scalable systems, and identify opportunities for improvement. You enjoy turning ambiguity into clarity.

You are AI-curious.

You understand that recruiting, people operations, and organizational design are being transformed by AI. You're excited about leveraging new tools and workflows to help teams operate more effectively.

You are adaptable.

You thrive in fast-moving environments, prioritize effectively, and adjust quickly as business needs evolve.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience across recruiting, talent acquisition, people operations, or broader people leadership roles.

  • Experience building and scaling teams within high-growth technology companies.

  • Strong recruiting experience, particularly within technical organizations.

  • Experience partnering directly with executives on talent and organizational decisions.

  • Experience managing and developing teams.

  • Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.

Highly valued:

  • Experience in talent-dense organizations known for exceptional hiring standards.

  • Experience within developer tools, infrastructure software, SaaS, fintech, or adjacent technology sectors.

  • Experience in operations, business operations, or other highly cross-functional leadership environments.

  • Experience supporting distributed or global organizations.

  • Experience building AI-enabled recruiting or people workflows.

  • Experience across both recruiting and people operations functions.

In your first month, you'll:

  • Meet the People team, leadership team, and key hiring managers.

  • Go deep on RevenueCat's culture, operating principles, and organizational structure.

  • Assess the current recruiting function, hiring processes, and talent priorities.

  • Understand existing people programs, performance management processes, and compensation philosophy.

  • Identify immediate opportunities for impact.

  • Develop a roadmap for improving recruiting effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Within your first 3 months, you'll:

  • Take ownership of recruiting and people operations goals. Show tangible results on recruiting efficiency and execution

  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning and organizational design initiatives.

  • Implement improvements to hiring processes, candidate experience, and recruiting operations.

  • Establish clear metrics and reporting around recruiting and people outcomes.

Within your first 6 months, you'll:

  • Continue to deliver measurable improvements in hiring quality, speed, and efficiency.

  • Strengthen collaboration between Recruiting, People Operations, and business leaders.

  • Improve systems and processes that support organizational growth.

  • Become a trusted advisor to leaders across the company on talent and people matters.

  • Help create a more scalable foundation for RevenueCat's next phase of growth.

Within your first 12 months, you'll:

  • Help scale the company while maintaining a high bar for talent density and performance.

  • Build a recruiting function that serves as a competitive advantage for RevenueCat.

  • Establish yourself as a strategic leader across the organization.

  • Strengthen the people infrastructure needed to support continued growth.

  • Help shape the long-term vision for the People function as RevenueCat continues to scale.

What we offer:
  • Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator

  • 10-year window to exercise vested equity options

  • Fully remote and flexible work environment

  • 4-5 weeks of suggested time off annually for mental, physical, and emotional recharge

  • $2,000 USD for workspace setup and $1,000 USD annual stipend for continuous learning
