Own and scale the company’s paid acquisition engine across major advertising channels and emerging crypto networks. Manage a multimillion-dollar daily budget, optimize CAC, ROAS, LTV, and payback, build attribution infrastructure, lead creative testing, hire and manage a performance marketing team, and partner with Legal on regulatory compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring direct campaign execution, rapid experimentation, quantitative analysis, and end-to-end ownership.

WHO WE ARE

Baton Corporation builds and maintains pump.fun — the dominant memecoin launchpad, processing $300M+ in daily volume. Last year, pump.fun generated over $500M in profit with a team of fewer than 100 people.

We ship to production daily. Bureaucracy is minimal. We solve hard technical and go-to-market problems at scale, and we're data-driven — systematic tools and the scientific method decide what works, not opinions.

Working with us isn't for everyone. We work in person. Hours are long and sometimes strange. The pace is intense. Individuals own their function end to end. When we ship a change, it reaches hundreds of thousands of users within days.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a Head of Performance Marketing & Acquisition to build and run our paid growth engine from the ground up — the strategy, the channels, the always-on daily budget, the creative testing, the team, and the compliance guardrails that let us move fast without moving recklessly.

This is a hands-on, builder role, not a "manage an agency and review decks" job. You'll be in the weeds on campaigns and creative while building the team underneath you as we scale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own paid acquisition strategy end-to-end — set the roadmap for user acquisition and be accountable for the CAC, ROAS, and payback numbers behind it

  • Deploy and manage a multi-million-dollar, always-on daily budget with full ownership across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok Ads,TikTok Shop, X Ads, programmatic, and emerging crypto-native networks as they become relevant

  • Build and lead the team — hire, onboard, and manage the performance marketers and specialists needed to scale aggressively

  • Run a systematic, high-velocity creative testing program — sourcing, briefing, and scaling UGC and clipping-style content alongside traditional paid creative that performs

  • Build the attribution and measurement infrastructure connecting spend to activation and trading volume, not just clicks

  • Partner closely with Legal and General Counsel to make sure every paid campaign fits within our compliance framework — non-negotiable given the regulatory environment we operate in

  • Report on and iterate against performance — kill what doesn't work, scale what does, fast

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • A proven track record owning and scaling paid acquisition at a leading consumer, fintech, or crypto platform — the kind of top companies in the industry known for large, always-on daily budgets — or at an agency that ran growth for products like these

  • Hands-on channel fluency across Meta, Google, TikTok, and X, with real experience operating the console, not just reviewing the deck

  • A scrappy, high-energy operator mindset — you're hungry, hands-on, and thrive in a fast-paced, resource-lean environment where you're building the playbook as you go, not just running someone else's

  • Comfort with ambiguity and pace — you don't need a fully mapped org or process to start moving

  • Strong quantitative fluency — you think natively in CAC, LTV, ROAS, and payback period

If you're the kind of operator who'd rather ship the campaign than write the deck about it — this is your role.
