What is the role?As Head of Product, you will be responsible for defining Teachable's product vision and roadmap, ensuring the platform continues to deliver best-in-class solutions for creators. You will lead product strategy, innovation, and execution in close partnership with cross-functional teams, balancing creator needs with business priorities.
You will work with a talented, global team based across the U.S. and Brazil. This role is hybrid 1-2 days to our New York City office.
You will have 3 reports and report to our Managing Director.
In this role you'll:
- Own Teachable's product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization.
- Translate market insights and creator feedback into innovative features and experiences.
- Partner with Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure both strategic alignment and tactical progress towards our product goals.
- Drive a product culture rooted in customer empathy, experimentation, and measurable impact.
- Establish a long-term product vision and strategy in alignment with the company's business goals, including the long term vision of Hotmart, our parent company.
- Continuously communicate and evangelize this strategy to provide vision, inspiration and motivation to employees and stakeholders across the company.
- Collaborate closely with engineering leadership to implement and lead efficient and iterative SDLC (software development lifecycle), quarterly planning and release processes.
- Connect regularly with Product leaders throughout Hotmart Co. to ensure alignment and integration across our parent company's portfolio of product offering.
- Travel internationally 2-3x a year for company events.
What You'll Bring:
- 10+ years of product management experience with at least 5 in leadership roles.
- Exposure to payments / commerce solutions and/or vendors.
- Proven ability to lead outcome-driven product development using Agile principles-balancing discovery and delivery, managing roadmaps, and guiding teams through the end-to-end product lifecycle.
- You have experience building and leading product teams in SaaS environments.
- You have a demonstrated ability to not only establish, but also successfully execute on a product roadmap, taking concepts from discovery to development to release, working collaboratively with multiple teams to deliver outcomes.
- You have a proven track record of building Product teams, including recruiting, managing and developing Product Managers.
- You bias towards action, prioritizing testing, learning and continuous innovation.
- You're data-driven, with a deep understanding of business metrics and quantitative goal-setting and its impact on prioritization.
- You're someone who values ruthless prioritization and cross-team alignment. You can balance technical feasibility concerns along with user experience and business goals, weighing quick wins with long-term investments appropriately.
- You are a strong written and verbal communicator, and can explain and synthesize complexity with ease.
- You're a problem-solver who can help address roadblocks and take on complex problems as needed.

Base salaries will be reviewed at regular intervals throughout the year, typically following performance review cycles currently conducted annually or in conjunction with a promotion.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
- Applicants must be able to go into the office 1-2x a week
- Applicants must be able to travel internationally
- For this role, the cash compensation package potential is $215,000 - $264,000
- Additionally there will be a performance bonus that will be tied to set targets. Total compensation also includes a competitive benefits package. A salary offer will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, education, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay and compensation programs regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
