About the role

We are in search of a Head of Sales to spearhead life sciences enterprise sales from to acquire new partnerships and business opportunities with enterprise-level pharmaceutical clients. This role is for an individual who is a fast learner and constantly wants to deliver real results. In addition, this role requires a high level of creative and independent thinking through a willingness to explore different sales tactics and iterate on sales strategies to close a deal. You will be collaborating incredibly closely with co-founders Yiwen and Aris on all facets of the startup as well as gain technical exposure alongside the product team as we grow Solstice in the coming years.

What you'll do
  • Lead Generation: explore and implement different strategies using tools and different frameworks (organizing in-person events, digital outreach, advertisements) to identify and convert new business opportunities into prospects.

  • Lead Engagement: engage prospects throughout the sales cycle to understand their needs as well as address their pain points through a metrics and product-based strategy.

  • Pipeline Management: maintain and organize pipeline in Hubspot and CRM platforms.

  • Closing Deals: manage and engage leads to close enterprise accounts and developing a sales playbook that can be replicated across commercial life sciences accounts.

  • Collaboration: collaborate with product team to provide feedback based on conversations with prospects as well as co-founder (Yiwen) to explore, strategize, and execute outreach tasks both virtually via sales engagement tools and in-person via conferences and events.

What we're seeking
  • Experience. Relevant experience working in enterprise commercial biopharma sales as a VP of sales or GTM. Has a deep understand of the customer profile as well as sales journey.

  • Independent thinking. While we believe specific skills can be taught, we need someone who has the ability to make decisions, can learn quickly, and can drive results on their own.

  • Strong proficiency in sales tech stacks. Experience using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hubspot, Apollo, and other sales engagement tools.

  • Superb communication and collaboration skills. Ability to clearly articulate value proposition to customers and is able to interpret feedback from users.

  • Unreal work ethic. Diamonds were not made overnight. We believe in someone who is resilient and will not settle until the deal is closed.
