About Snorkel

At Snorkel, we believe meaningful AI doesn’t start with the model, it starts with the data.

We’re on a mission to help enterprises transform expert knowledge into specialized AI at scale. The AI landscape has gone through incredible changes since 2015, when Snorkel started as a research project in the Stanford AI Lab, to the generative AI breakthroughs of today. But one thing has remained constant: the data you use to build AI is the key to achieving differentiation, high performance, and production-ready systems. We work with some of the world’s largest organizations to empower scientists, engineers, financial experts, product creators, journalists, and more to build custom AI with their data faster than ever before. Excited to help us redefine how AI is built? Apply to be the newest Snorkeler!

About the Team

The Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) business is building a category-defining data marketplace powering the next generation of AI applications. Our success depends on our ability to rapidly source, scale, and retain a high-quality global network of expert contributors (ECs) across a wide range of domains.

The Supply team sits at the center of this effort — owning the strategy, systems, and partnerships required to ensure we can meet highly dynamic customer demand while building a scalable, resilient supply engine.

About the Role

We are seeking a senior leader to own and scale the supply side of our DaaS marketplace. This role is responsible for building a globally distributed, high-performing EC network that can meet fast-moving demand while scaling efficiently over time.

This is a highly cross-functional and strategic role that goes beyond traditional growth or partnerships. You will be responsible for global supply strategy, BPO and partnership ecosystems, international expansion, and ensuring the right mix across geographies and channels to mitigate concentration and operational risk.

You will also play a critical role in evolving our supply model from reactive fulfillment to predictive capacity planning — enabling a responsive, scalable marketplace that keeps pace with rapid sales cycles and shifting demand.

About You

You are a systems thinker and operator who thrives in ambiguity and knows how to bring structure and clarity to complex, fast-moving environments. You have deep experience scaling marketplace supply and understand how to balance short-term execution with long-term strategy.

You’re highly analytical and comfortable building models and frameworks that inform decision-making. You know how to translate data into action and can partner effectively across Product, GTM, and Operations.

You are equally comfortable operating at a strategic level and diving into the details when needed. You move with urgency, prioritize ruthlessly, and know how to scale teams and systems in high-growth environments.

Responsibilities
  • Own global supply strategy and execution
    • build and scale a high-quality EC network to meet current and future demand
    • balance short-term delivery needs with long-term capacity planning
  • Lead BPO ecosystem and international expansion
    • develop and manage BPO partnerships and global sourcing channels
    • expand supply footprint internationally while managing geo and concentration risk
  • Build predictive capacity planning and marketplace health systems
    • evolve supply from reactive fulfillment to forward-looking capacity modeling
    • leverage analytics to drive insights and actions that improve marketplace responsiveness and efficiency
  • Drive multi-channel supply growth
    • scale paid, partnerships, referral, and organic acquisition channels
    • establish strong unit economics and continuously optimize funnel performance
  • Own strategic partnerships
    • identify and build partnerships (BPOs, universities, training programs, etc.) that drive scalable supply growth
  • Partner on EC experience and retention
    • work closely with the Head of EC Experience to improve retention, engagement, and contributor quality
    • ensure a seamless end-to-end experience across the EC lifecycle
  • Align closely with GTM and Delivery
    • partner with GTM to respond to short sales cycles and rapidly evolving demand
    • build systems that enable fast ramp-up and ramp-down of supply
  • Lead and scale the team
    • hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team across supply, partnerships, and operations

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in marketplace, growth, operations, or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams, including senior or cross-functional leaders
  • Proven experience building and scaling global supply networks, including partnerships and/or BPO models
  • Strong analytical skillset, with experience building capacity models, forecasting systems, and data-driven decision frameworks
  • Experience operating in fast-paced environments with short sales cycles and dynamic demand
  • Demonstrated ability to create clarity and prioritize effectively in ambiguous environments
  • Strong cross-functional leadership across Product, GTM, and Operations
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex systems into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong business judgment, including managing risk (geographic, channel, operational) and balancing short- and long-term tradeoffs
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias to action and ability to scale from 0→1 and 1→n

All offers include equity in the form of employee stock options. Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
