Rula
Healthcare Account Management Associate (Remote - Atlanta, Chicago or South Florida)
We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.
We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being.
We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare.
Rula is a remote-first company. We currently hire in most U.S. states, with the exception of Hawaii.
About the Role
We are hiring a Healthcare Account Management Associate to enable Rula’s PCP Success team to grow Rula's network of referring primary care providers across our expanding market footprint. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of physician practices that have already begun referring patients to mental health care through Rula, with the goal of deepening those relationships and increasing referral consistency over time. You will spend most of your time in direct conversation with providers and practice staff both in-person and remotely, and understanding their workflow challenges and helping them make mental health referrals a routine part of patient care. The expected balance is 60% in-person and 40% remote. This is an early-stage function at a fast-growing company, which means you will have real influence over how the team operates and the opportunity to grow as the organization scales. This team is highly collaborative and best practices and learnings are expected to be shared in real-time.
We are only considering candidates residing in the Chicago, Atlanta, and Miami metropolitan areas.
This role includes a base salary plus uncapped variable pay. Your earnings are directly tied to performance, with unlimited upside and strong potential to exceed target earnings.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of related professional experience in account management, customer success, or sales
Experience using a CRM (Salesforce preferred) to log activity, track pipeline, and manage follow-up
Experience in a role with measurable performance expectations
Experience working in an external customer-facing role where effective and succinct communication (written and verbal) is crucial.
Must reside in either the Chicago, Atlanta, or Miami metro areas
Demonstrated comfort with a field-based role requiring regular in-person visits to physician practices, with an expected 60% of time spent on-site.
Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of accounts and prioritize outreach based on activity data
Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
While having the preferred qualifications enhances your candidacy, having all of them is not mandatory. We encourage all interested applicants to apply, even those who may not meet every preferred requirement.
1+ years experience at a high-growth start-up
Strong verbal skills, comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and running structured conversations with busy professionals
Ability to identify why an account is underperforming and develop a clear action plan to address it
Experience in healthcare, health tech, or working directly with physician practices
Demonstrated track record of moving accounts from low to high engagement within a defined timeframe
Experience with formal sales or account management methodologies (any recognized training)
