We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support our managers and employees in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role sits within the global People Operations team and partners closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Workplace Services, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to deliver thoughtful people support across the employee lifecycle.

The HRBP will balance strategic business partnering with hands-on operational execution. This person will help managers navigate organizational change, performance and employee relations matters, and team effectiveness, while also contributing to core HR processes and programs. The ideal candidate is collaborative, curious, solutions-oriented, and trusted to handle sensitive matters with sound judgment, discretion, and a strong sense of accountability.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with managers to strengthen leadership capabilities in areas such as performance coaching, change management, difficult conversations, employee relations, and team effectiveness. 
  • Provide day-to-day HR support across onboarding, performance management, training and development, benefits, leave administration, employee transfers, and other employee lifecycle matters. 
  • Contribute to key People Operations processes, including merit and bonus cycles, mobility and transfer activities, HRIS transactions, and offboarding. 
  • Partner with cross-functional and global People Operations colleagues to support employee engagement, talent development, succession planning, and retention efforts in alignment with the firm’s culture and values. 
  • Recommend practical, agile solutions that improve workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and the employee experience. 
  • Develop, communicate, and maintain HR guidelines, processes, and best practices with a flexible, service-oriented approach. 
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, internal policies, training requirements, and employment-related documentation, including confidentiality and restrictive covenant obligations. 
  • Build strong relationships across management levels and know when to escalate issues appropriately. 
  • Act as a collaborative, trusted, and confidential partner to employees, managers, and the broader global HR team. 
  • Support additional People Operations initiatives and projects as needed. 

Skills You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or similar People Operations role, with broad exposure to employee relations, talent management, compensation, performance management, onboarding, and recruitment.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, and evolving environment; experience in technology, financial services, or a similarly dynamic industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business and people challenges into practical HR solutions.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence across a global, matrixed organization.
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and comfort handling sensitive and highly confidential information.
  • Strong communication, listening, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive issues forward even when processes are not clearly defined.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong follow-through, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, Culture Amp, or similar tools; familiarity with collaboration platforms such as Confluence and Jira is a plus.
  • Interest in developing broad People Operations expertise across areas such as benefits, payroll, mobility, immigration, and compensation.
  • Sense of humor and passion for working within a People Ops team.
