As the HR Director at Kasheesh, you will play a critical role in building our team and shaping the company's future in person from our NYC office. This role goes beyond traditional HR responsibilities; you’ll own the full recruitment process while also leading key people operations initiatives. We're looking for a driven, strategic individual who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is eager to enhance and expand upon our existing success. You’ll work closely with the CEO, CTO, and leadership team to attract top talent, foster a strong company culture, and drive initiatives that support our employees’ growth and well-being.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or people operations, ideally in payments, banking, financial services industries or start-up related industries.
- Proven ability to attract and retain top-tier talent, particularly in engineering, product and go-to-market functions.
- Experience working closely with leadership teams and building out HR functions from the ground up.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for problem-solving and ownership.
- Ability to thrive in a startup setting, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
- A collaborative, people-focused approach, balancing employee experience with business needs.
Responsibilities
- HR Function: Establish and refine our human resources processes, implementing scalable systems to attract, develop, and retain top-tier talent.
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage every stage of the recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding, with an emphasis on engineering and go-to-market roles that will drive Kasheesh’s continued success.
- Employee Engagement & Culture: Create a fun, productive, and engaging work environment that makes people excited to come to work every day.
- Innovative Communication: Implement innovative ways for team members to communicate, collaborate, and stay connected as the company grows.
- People Operations: Oversee onboarding, employee engagement, performance reviews, internal systems such, HR best practices as the company scales.
- Policy & Compliance: Develop and enforce HR policies that align with company values and ensure legal compliance.
- Collaboration: Partner with leadership to define roles, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Learning & Development: Identify opportunities for employee growth and create programs that support career development and continuous learning.
