For our Bronx, New York headquarters, we are looking for an HR Generalist/Coordinator who can join our team and support the day-to-day running of our HR function across both our Bronx office and our New Jersey warehouse.

If you see yourself as someone who is hands-on, organized, and comfortable wearing many hats in a growing team, and you want to help build our HR foundations from the ground up, this is the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for open roles: job postings, applicant screening, interview scheduling, and offer coordination;
  • Own onboarding and offboarding for both the Bronx office and the New Jersey warehouse;
  • Maintain employee records, HR systems, and day-to-day HR reporting;
  • Support payroll, timecard, PTO, and leave administration, including coordination with our external payroll/benefits provider;
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees on HR questions, policies, and benefits enrollment;
  • Help coordinate workers' compensation, unemployment, and other compliance matters alongside our external HR partners;
  • Support the Director of Human Resources on HR projects, including performance review cycles and employee programs.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • A few years of experience in an HR generalist, coordinator, or HR assistant role, ideally in a small or growing company;
  • Working familiarity with U.S. HR practices, including recruitment, onboarding, and basic payroll/benefits concepts;
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing several priorities at once across two work sites;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in supporting employees day-to-day;
  • Comfortable working with HR systems and keeping records accurate and up to date;
  • Experience with New York and/or New Jersey employment practices is a plus, though not required.

Benefits

What We Offer:

  • A hands-on role at the heart of Trucco's growing HR function, with real ownership from day one;
  • Close mentorship from the Director of Human Resources and exposure to Gruppo Orsero's broader HR organization;
  • A dynamic, international working environment with strong ties across Europe;
  • Salary Range: $ 65,000 - $ 90,000 per year.

If you're ready to make a difference and help build Trucco's HR foundations, send us your resume!
