Job Description

The HR Generalist plays a critical role in delivering responsive, accurate, and high-quality HR support across the employee lifecycle, with a primary focus on Talent Acquisition coordination and candidate experience. This role serves as a trusted resource for employees, managers, candidates, and hiring teams on day-to-day HR and recruiting processes, while partnering closely with the HR Business Partner team, Talent Acquisition, and Centers of Excellence to execute key people initiatives. In addition, this position will provide on-site office services and facilities support for the New York office, helping ensure a smooth, professional, and well-supported workplace experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

HR SUPPORT & EMPLOYEE LIFECYCLE

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee, manager, candidate, and hiring team questions related to HR policies, recruiting processes, systems, and general workplace support.
  • Provide first-level guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and standard practices, escalating complex or sensitive matters to the HR Business Partner team.
  • Execute employee lifecycle changes (job changes, transfers, promotions, manager changes, terminations) with accurate documentation and system updates.

TALENT ACQUISITION & ONBOARDING

  • Serve as the primary HR Generalist partner for Talent Acquisition support, helping coordinate requisition activity, interview logistics, candidate communications, offer-related workflows, and hiring process follow-up.
  • Submit and track job requisitions in partnership with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition, ensuring required approvals, job details, and position information are accurate and complete.
  • Support a positive candidate and hiring manager experience by coordinating interviews, preparing interview materials, monitoring process timelines, and helping resolve scheduling or workflow issues.
  • Assist with pre-hire, onboarding, and new hire readiness activities, including coordination with HR, IT, facilities, hiring managers, and other internal partners to support a smooth transition into the organization.

HR OPERATIONS & SYSTEMS

  • Partner with COEs on data audits, position management updates, recruiting-related reporting, and system clean-up projects.

OFFICE SERVICES, FACILITIES & EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE

  • Provide on-site office services and facilities support for the New York office, partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to help maintain a professional, organized, and employee-ready workplace.
  • Support day-to-day office operations, including visitor coordination, conference room readiness, supply management, mail/package coordination, workspace support, invoice processing, and escalation of facilities-related issues as needed.
  • Assist with New York office events, employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and other on-site employee experience initiatives in coordination with HR, Learning and Development, Corporate Communications, and office services partners.

COMMUNICATIONS & CULTURE

  • Partner with Corporate Communications to assist with communications related to policy updates, HR programs, office updates, and organizational announcements.
  • Model company values and contribute to a positive, inclusive employee, candidate, and workplace experience.
