Director of Recruiting

Pager delivers a “doctor in your family” healthcare experience by making it simple for consumers to connect with the trusted experts they need to make the right healthcare decisions. Pager is looking for a Director of Recruiting to partner with the executive team and drive our talent acquisition strategy. The Director will support Pager’s rapid growth by overseeing our recruiters as they source and hire the best and brightest talent. 

What You’ll Do

  • You will be a strategic partner to Pager’s Department Leaders across the organization as they scale their teams
  • You will be responsible for the growth, management and mentorship of a team of general and technical recruiters at all levels
  • You will define and drive the strategic direction of Pager’s recruiting efforts, partnering closely with the CEO, CFO and leaders across Operations, Engineering, Product, Business Development and other departments
  • You will advocate hiring practices, processes, tools and training that enable and support our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts
  • You will use data to inform future hiring strategies and provide insights to stakeholders on current hiring progress and trends
  • You will directly support senior level hiring (Director and above)


Who You Are

  • You have 10+ years of total recruitment experience (bonus points for a mix of Agency and In-House experience)
  • You have 5+ years of leading, mentoring and building effective recruitment teams.
  • You have experience recruiting for a variety of non-technical and technical roles.
  • You excel at creating unique and comprehensive sourcing strategies that build employer branding and bring awareness to Pager openings
  • You have experience developing and analyzing recruitment metrics in order to make data-driven decisions
  • You lead your team with empathy, honesty and transparency. You understand your direct reports’ professional goals and create avenues for them to succeed
  • You seek to build trust and gain buy-in with Company leadership by presenting proposals that are backed by relevant data
  • You enjoy working in a collaborative environment where you will work with your direct reports and Department heads to create innovative solutions to Recruiting challenges
