Billie is hiring for a Director of Talent Acquisition. In this role you will be the point person to help grow the Billie team and lead a best in class recruiting function. You’ll drive the full lifecycle recruiting process from req intake meetings all the way to onboarding, and you’ll establish new talent initiatives such as our employer brand strategy. You'll work with Managers across Billie to provide guidance and support throughout the hiring process and you'll have candidates at "yes" at every step within the recruiting process.  And, being a lean team, we'll need you to pivot and provide support in other areas such as company-wide diversity and inclusion initiatives. The role:

  • Manage a full lifecycle recruiting process; sourcing, interviewing, offers, background checks
  • Establish and drive best in class talent acquisition strategies and processes
    • Iterate on existing hiring process frameworks and leverage data to optimize processes 
    • Create and implement an employer branding strategy
    • Create and implement candidate pipeline strategies
  • Be the go-to expert on best in class hiring practices and legalities 
  • Foster diversity and inclusion in all aspects of hiring, and assist in broader company-wide D/I initiatives
  • Manage relationships with outside vendors and recruiting partners
  • Partner with the broader People Team on other company-wide initiatives 

What we're looking for:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in talent acquisition or  human resources (prior agency and technical recruiting is highly preferred) 
  • Top-notch sourcing and networking capabilities
  • Knowledge of hiring best practices and legalities 
  • Ability to use data to drive recruiting optimizations 
  • Prior experience supporting Diversity & Inclusion programming or initiatives 
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Project management and prioritization skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A proactive and collaborative approach; you love working with people and people love working with you
  • You lead by example and demonstrate Billie’s core values
