How you'll make an impact at Collibra:

Collibra seeks an innovative, agile, self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to serve as our Director, Talent Management and reporting to our newly hired VP, People. This role is charged with designing business driven talent initiatives to attract, develop and retain key talent to help Collibra as it grows from 600 employees in 2020 and beyond.

A day in the life of a Director, Talent Management at Collibra:

You’ll be reporting directly to the VP, People and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Ideating, creating and improving talent initiatives in a rapidly changing and occasionally ambiguous environment
  • Aligning and teaming with HR Business Partners to identify leadership, talent and capability gaps and then design/implement/execute strategic plans integrating OD and Learning programs to deliver on organizational strategic and financial objectives
  • Continuing to iterate and improve the Performance Management and Development framework, OKR Methodology utilization and Onboarding experiences
  • Driving the Talent Development function to create low input, high impact learning programs with emphasis on management development
  • Creating a dynamic and scalable Talent Review processes (inclusive of Succession Planning) and, beginning in 2021, a world-class HiPo program to improve our internal talent mobility and leadership development programs aligned to the Collibra Core Values
  • Improving and administering meaningful “voice of the employee” survey programs inclusive of creating action plans and partnering with HRBPs to deliver business outcomes directionally guided from survey results

You Have:

  • Deep knowledge and leadership experience in Organizational Development and Talent Development, ideally in a growing tech-company environment, where you were responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of innovative programs and processes that attracts and retains top talent 
  • Demonstrated experience developing innovative talent practices from scratch and iterating on implemented programs; bonus points for the capability to leverage analytics 
  • A growth mindset with a strong penchant for continuous learning and improvement
  • Fluency and tangible examples of implementing an agile methodology for talent programs including the understanding of “Test and Learn” methodologies that leverage MVPs; experience using OKRs a major plus 
  • Exceptional instincts/experiences leveraging people strategies to drive business outcomes and financial results (Some companies might call this a required Masters or “MBA”; we need someone who understands business and don’t care where you learned it!)
  • Comfortable working a rapidly changing workforce through a combination of progressive strategic thinking and heavy tactical/roll-up-your-sleeves; this is a fast-paced culture with high standards of excellence and yet we run lean!
