As the Head of Talent Acquisition, your role is the gateway to ensuring we create practices that help us to maintain this same philosophy during times of exponential growth and scale. In partnership with the VP of People Operations, you will be a critical member of Bread's leadership team playing a key role in shaping the organization's future by setting the benchmark for recruiting performance in high growth tech.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement both a short-and long-term high-performing talent acquisition strategy
  • Constantly challenge yourself and your team to think creatively in order to deliver on ambitious hiring targets
  • Be a thought partner and a thought leader to hiring managers on how to find, interview and close exceptional candidates
  • Establish scalable processes and build out innovative best practices
  • Be an effective leader, mentor and a coach in order to empower your team to deliver great results and find long-term growth at Bread
  • Design and run multi-channel lead generation strategies informed by data
  • Establish Bread as a great place to work wether candidates receive an offer or not; oversee our social media and employer brand strategy
  • Nurture our core values and guiding principles and further our best practices for diversity and inclusion

What You've Done:

  • 8+ years of experience in recruiting (tech recruiting a must!), and 4+ years of experience leading talent teams in a high-growth early-stage technology company
  • Scaled those same companies from 50 to 150 and more ++
  • Shown strong business acumen with a pragmatic approach and built strong credibility through empathy and understanding of clients' functions and business needs
  • Understanding and experience of cultural differences and their impact on business and organizational dynamic
  • Strategic market intelligence on hiring trends, competitor activity and compensation
  • used data to analyze and improve recruiting practices and pipeline with an emphasis on how to take metrics and put them into actionable programs
  • Built an employer brand and value proposition
