As the HR Manager, you will play a critical role in growing, developing and managing primarily our US Based staff, but also having a voice and impact on our global employee experience. This role will be responsible for maintaining, communicating and evolving our HR best practices, owning the employee experience, staff relations, and culture primarily for our US based staff but also impacting our Global team. Ideal candidates for this role must be self-motivated, data driven, and detail oriented with a strong emotional intelligence and a passion for learning and development. 

As a Human Resources Manager, you will: 

Administration and Employee Experience for our US based staff 

  • Own our HRIS and Performance systems and employee information portals (Employee Hub, Staff Training Site, etc.) to support long-term and service delivery goals, and ensure highest levels of accuracy of data management for all systems. 
  • Work closely with our Payroll and Benefits Manager and HR Associate to onboard, update and maintain employee records in our HR systems 
  • Improve and automate processes and drive requirements for additional improvements to eliminate manual processes driving us to a paperless HR department.
  • Compliance: maintain employee handbook and partner with our Payroll and Benefits Manager to stay current with existing and new laws/policies.
  • Partner with Payroll and Benefits Manager to manage and build on our global perks and benefits while staying updated on relevant local and international legislation, regulation, standard practices, employee file maintenance, etc.

Employee Experience and Relations for our US based staff: You will be a trusted resource to the team and will handle day to day employee inquiries from our US based employees as well as ad hoc, sensitive matters with the utmost discretion, empathy, and fairness.

  • Onboarding/Off-boarding: Plan, manage and execute employee onboarding and off-boarding by liaising with Recruitment, Total Rewards, IT, Finance and Operations to ensure accurate, timely and seamless employee experience.
  • Performance Management: Partners with our Senior HR Manager on Performance Reviews and Management. 
  • Learning and Development: Partner with our Senior HR Manager across on employee growth, learning and professional development programs including but not limited to:
    • New Hire and Staff Core Training, Career Pathing, Development support and Role Definition
    • Lead on Internship and Apprenticeship programs
    • DEI Partnerships and Initiatives
    • Mentorship Program, Professional Development Program, Leadership Lab Program
    • Company-wide core Staff Training on internal processes and Mentorship Programs
  • Culture: Partner with the HR team and the SVP of HR to drive culture through internal communication, employee events and programs, and  (health fairs, clubs, company-sponsored events, etc).
    • Own Messaging on cultural initiatives and Communications
    • Partner with and be a resource for our ERG groups
    • Partner with Finance, IT and Facilities on builds parameters and policies for events and programs
  • Immigration: Manage the employee immigration experience and process with our external legal representation as well as driving the process for approvals, renewals and extensions.

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years of experience in Human Resources in a fast-moving, growth environment, preferably in the software or SaaS industry
  • Strong HRIS (preferably ADP Workforce Now) and Google Suite knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience handling multiple projects using exceptional organizational skills and maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong comfort level handling highly confidential and sensitive information
