The Role:

We are seeking an experienced human resource professional to take on the role as a HR Generalist to provide support to all business units. This position reports to the HR Manager. Additionally, this role will support HR initiatives and programs as opportunities they arise. Be excited to learn about benefits (plan design, strategy), payroll (commissions, off-cycle payments, etc), immigration, and employment relations. Excellent communication skills, high degree of discretion and detail oriented is vital to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all HR related inquiries
  • Maintain current HR files, databases and run ad hoc reports 
  • Process various employee changes such as promotion, title change, department transfer, etc. into TriNet 
  • Create and process termination paperwork and conduct exit interviews 
  • Draft offer letters for new hires, process new hires through our system and track necessary data for compliance purposes
  • Ensure background checks are completed; partner with the HR Manager over any discrepancies and oversee I-9 administration
  • Research for, create and update policies, procedures, and employee handbook as needed
  • Own and conduct the onboarding process to ensure effective on-boarding of all new employees including coordinating with Talent Acquisition and managing the new hire orientation schedule
  • Participate and support the Office Experience and Culture Manager to help create and execute new initiatives
  • Support managers in any performance related issues with their team 
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with management and ensure HR strategies, processes and practices are implemented

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in a related field)
  • 3-5 years of HR experience with knowledge around the administrative aspects of HR and legal compliance
  • High capacity for managing multiple projects simultaneously, influencing and gaining credibility with all levels of employees and management
  • Experience leading onboarding/orientation in a previous role
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to learn new programs and procedures quickly
  • High degree of discretion and confidentiality absolutely required
  • A passion for our employees and for what we do
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Excellent time and project management skills. There's a lot to do!
