People Experience Associate

Your Job in a Nutshell: Help craft and implement an employee experience that reflects our company mission.

Fit Small Business (FSB) seeks a full-time People Experience Associate to join the people operations department. This role offers you the chance to develop in a dynamic, professional, startup environment. It is based in NYC and reports directly to our Chief People Officer. Your work will likely evolve quickly to match the pace of our scaling, and that’s part of what would attract you to FSB.

This position includes:

  • Championing and coordinating culture-cultivating activities and communication.
  • Managing our office space and atmosphere.
  • Coordinating new hire and employee IT and equipment needs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Organize and communicate team-building events for our NYC and distributed teams.
  • Coordinate arrangements for events and conferences.
  • Get equipment and supplies for new hires and employees and administer software tools.
  • Maintain and organize the office and the vendors we use.
  • Identify ways to continuously improve our candidate and employee experience.
  • Handle the inevitable unexpected requests that come to the people ops team.

Your Background:

You may just be starting your career, and want to join a team where you can contribute, learn, and grow.

You may have experience in office management and event planning, and are looking for a new environment in which to apply what you know - one that is fast-paced, creative, and changes quickly due to business growth needs.
