Position Summary
The People Operations Manager is a new and critical role for the People function at Prove. The responsibilities of this role include ensuring that the People services, systems and processes are running smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with all levels in the company and can alternate smoothly between tactical tasks and operational and strategic responsibilities. This role will also oversee the Compensation and Benefits practice for the company. Ultimately, you will ensure our People initiatives are cost-effective, run smoothly and contribute to a healthy work environment.
What You Are Accountable For
- Delivery of basic People services, systems, and processes
- Development and administration of company policies
- Compensation administration - Market Surveys, Merit and Bonus Planning, Job Description Administration and Stock Option Administration (with Finance)
- Benefits Administration - PEO Administration, Interpretation and administration of any new benefits regulations
- Compliance audits, including EEO-1, ACA, 5500’s, Non-Discrimination testing, 1094 / 1095 reporting
- Project management of People programs and platform implementations
- Drive operational excellence in the People function by providing metrics and analytics
- Play a key supporting role with strategic initiatives including acquisitions and general diligence
- Work independently and within the team on recurring and special nonrecurring projects
- Ensure fair and consistent interpretation and application of Prove policies, practices and procedures that create and maintain a positive employee environment and helps create the desired Prove culture.
- Promote, maintain and enhance our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion and leadership
- Exhibit a strong passion for learning our products and markets through in-house and external training.
What We Require
- Three to five years experience in the Human Resources field, in a fast-paced, scaling, high-tech environment.
- Proven work experience as a People Operations Manager, Compensation Manager or similar role
- Experience developing and administering compensation and benefits programs
- Good knowledge of labor law; ability to develop clear and fair company policies
- Expertise in a variety of computer software applications including G-Suite, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and HRIS database
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional project management/organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects; ability to communicate project status, risks, and needs to multiple constituents.
- Strong consultative and collaborative skills; ability to partner with senior managers in multiple functions and organizations; ability to reach a successful conclusion when the desires/needs of various stakeholders are in conflict.
- BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field
