Today, over 11K brands–like Casper, Daily Harvest, L'Oréal, and Equinox–have utilized DojoMojo to reach and engage more than 200m emails and 200k SMS subscribers.

That’s why we’re hiring a seasoned and energetic People Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of the employee experience and HR process. You’ll be the go-to person for all employee-related matters including job and organizational design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management. You’ll also be a culture champion, promoting the company’s core values and help build the team as the company continues to scale. 

This is a unique opportunity to join the team as we plan a gradual return to the office in a post-pandemic environment this summer, while also playing a key role in supporting the search for a People Operations Manager for our sister company, Innovation Department.

Responsibilities 

  • Be a core part of the leadership team; support departmental leads through personnel development, engagement and motivation
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Be the point person for employee relations concerns, issues and grievances
  • Oversee and manage a performance review process that drives high performance
  • Maintain a competitive compensation and benefits program, and payroll
  • Assess and facilitate training & development programs 
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in People Operations/HR, preferably at a tech company
  • Startup/SMB experience is a must - we’re looking for a self-starter with the ability to provide leadership and execute in a fast-paced team environment
  • A people-oriented leader while also being results and metrics driven
  • Natural competence for building and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of HR and ATS systems (experience with Justworks and Lever a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
