What this role is about:
RapidSOS is hiring a People Strategy Associate to work closely with our Head of People on talent strategy initiatives across the organization. The People Strategy Associate will work cross-functionally across the People Team and Company to research, plan, and roll out new initiatives that will enhance the employee experience as we grow rapidly. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with leaders across the organization and identify creative ways to better support our most important asset -- the RapidSOS team! This is an exciting time to join RapidSOS, as we’re growing rapidly and there are a lot of exciting initiatives on the horizon.
What you’ll do:
Collaborate on strategic talent initiatives with the Head of People and other members of the People Team
Conduct research on best practices and launch new programs and initiatives to support employees across the company
Partner with senior leaders on new initiatives, building buy-in and support, and thoughtfully managing communications
Build out functional talent areas such as onboarding, learning and development, performance management, and community engagement
Build talent strategies that support the execution of our business strategy
Be a “culture ambassador” across RapidSOS, actively engaging in the RapidSOS community
Analyze data and provide data-driven insights to business leaders in order to improve upon our talent strategy
What we’d like to see in our ideal candidate:
3+ years of experience in consulting or in a business environment; experience in talent strategy is a plus
Experience working in People Operations or HR is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to partner with and advise business leaders on best practices
Strong analytical capabilities and desire to bring a data-driven approach to talent management
A growth mindset and truly flexible. You can shift tasks and priorities when circumstances change (At a fast-growing startup, they often do)
Bachelor’s degree; MBA is a plus
Laser-sharp attention to detail and a high standard for excellence
