The Role:

In this role, you will report to the Director of Talent & DEI, and partner to design, develop, embed, and promote holistic talent development programs and processes that are designed with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion principles at the forefront. This role will help establish leadership and functional curricula as well as leadership development programming for specific cohorts and the broad-based population. The Talent Development Lead will play a significant role in defining learning standards and fostering a learning culture that enables the DailyPay community to thrive.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Design and develop leadership and functional curricula with a strong learner-centric focus comprised of but not limited to blended content, micro-learning, eLearning, ILTs, and action learning experiences
  • Develop and test progressive and new approaches and strategies to encourage lasting behavioral change (which can include but is not limited to learning communities, social/peer/and digital interactions, learning partnerships, etc.)
  • Leverage existing and new learning offerings to creatively drive and engage participation
  • Partner closely with Talent Management to integrate development with existing and new talent practices
  • Engage as a developmentally-oriented manager leading the Talent Development team
  • Partner with team to facilitate workshops and programs to audiences at various levels within the organization
  • Leverage industry knowledge and expertise in establishing best practices, creating learning journeys, and designing reinforcement and application tools to increase learning impact 
  • Design and operate with DEI at the forefront working to build an organization which fosters an inclusive, equitable culture of belonging, grounded in empathy and respect, which values openness to opinions, awareness of lived experiences, and fair treatment for all. 
  • Partner closely with People Operations colleagues to identify and holistically address performance gaps and design effective interventions that accelerate success
  • Establish metrics to evaluate the impact of learning programs and use data based insights to design and refine solutions that improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with 5-7 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Talent Management or other HR degree. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Keen understanding and experience applying the science of training, instructional design and adult learning theory, or have achieved certifications in the field
  • Proven ability to collaborate with team, business leaders and cross-functional partners
  • Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills among multi-level audiences, conveying ideas clearly and succinctly and highlighting key takeaways
  • Experience leading both in-person and virtual training
  • Experience with managing projects centered around instructional design, content management and creation, and measuring the efficiency of trainings.
  • Ability to successfully build strong relationships across an organization
  • Creative and strategic thinker with strong bias towards action and problem solving
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity, experience in change management a plus.
  • Occasional need to work outside of normal business hours as required to support customers may be required
