About Our Team: 

The Talent Team here at MANTL follows three core principles: 

  • We Grow Thoughtfully: Our main goal is to hire top talent who add strengths and value to the company. We are able to clearly articulate the problems this person will be tackling, outcomes, and impact they will make 30, 60, 90, 180, 365 days out. We don’t hire for hiring sake, we hire people to solve problems and make a meaningful impact. 
  • We Prepare for Each Role: Part of having a thoughtful approach to hiring means there needs to be structured interview process in place. From the moment a role opens until the moment an offer is made, we take pride in defining and building a hiring processes that is equitable, consistent and proven to be successful.

The Talent team here at MANTL actively participates in inclusion through seeking advice and participation from all stakeholders across the organization. I.e Referrals, attending meet-up events, Interview prep, improving written feedback and DE&I initiatives.

Who You'll Work With: 

  • Christopher Waye: Is a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition who loves leading our amazing Talent Team. For many years he has been recruiting and managing teams while also developing processes to help companies and people grow. Chris lived in Manhattan his entire life till last year moving to Nashville Tennessee. In his free time he enjoys playing guitar and taking a jet ski ride on Old Hickory Lake. 
  • Amanda DaCunha: Is a Talent Acquisition Partner focused on Engineering at MANTL She has been involved in technical recruiting for the past 9 years, working at a recruiting agency and recently made the transition into a start-up environment to recruit in-house. She loves trying new restaurants in NYC, traveling (as much as COVID allows), and binge watching the next "it" show on Netflix.
  • Anastasia Demopoulos:  Is a Talent Acquisition Partner focused on the Business side at MANTL, working directly with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Marketing. She has been recruiting for the past 6 years across many types of roles from engineering to business. Starting her career on the agency side and moving through a few different industries, to then find a passion for the start up life. You can find her reading a good thriller book, trying a new recipe, and eating at various places in New York.

What You'll Do:

  • Full cycle recruitment process on multiple Engineering roles (Senior Back-End Engineers, Senior Front-End Engineers, Infrastructure Engineers etc...)
  • Ensure a positive interview experience for all candidates 
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and teams to effectively deliver results 
  • Lead kick-off calls for new roles with interview team
  • Act as a strategic partner by providing market insights, compensation advice, recruiting metrics and strategies to improve funnel efficiency
  • Drive our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Initiatives forward through hiring 

Requirements

  • You have 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting at an agency or in-house.
  • You have a track record of success recruiting and hiring for senior level roles.
  • You are an excellent networker and understand how to effectively engage candidates across multiple tech based functions.
  • You are an excellent communicator and have the ability to persuade and advise executives on recruiting best practices.
  • You have experience using recruiting metrics to identify problems, provide insights, and drive decisions.

Location

MANTL is located in NoMad, Manhattan within walking distance of some of NYC's best restaurants, bars, and shopping! The office is easy to get to with various train and bus stops being close by.
