We are going through a very exciting time with a staff of 30, and looking to grow to 100+ by the end of next
year. We are looking for someone to come in and bring policy, training programs, succession and
compensation planning and more. This is fantastic opportunity to have a seat at the table and partner with
C-suite to help us build the foundation of the company as we continue to grow.
Role Overview
We know that people are at the heart of every company, even more so at high-growth startups. With that
in mind, we are looking to bring on Head of Human Resources to lead People and HR strategy for our
company. We will be looking to you to build out the foundation of Socure by planning and executing
strategy, employment engagement, and management best practices. It will be your role to create an end-
to-end people strategy and ensure that all employees continue to be excited, productive, and passionate
about working at Socure. This person will report to the CEO.
Responsibilities
● Roll out trainings and programs to enable managers at all levels to successfully lead direct reports
● Implement policies, procedures and leadership planning
● Coach managers on how to lead their teams, navigate and resolve employee relations issues
● Develop employee engagement strategy including surveys, analysis of data and provide
recommendations for executive team; we are looking to you to find the best tools & processes to
engage our employees
● Improve existing employee onboarding process to set all hires up for success on day one,
including NYC based and remote hires
● Understand talent mapping across all roles of the business
● Partner with co-founders to help them build and develop our people
Qualifications
● 5+ years Human Resources experience
● Comfortable with multiple strategic functional areas such as employee engagement, people
strategy and development
● Excellent judgment, tact and ability to effectively deliver meaningful decisions across the org
● Willingness and ability to perform both strategic and tactical HR tasks
● Excellent project management skills; ability to juggle priorities without letting things slip through
the cracks
● Experience working in start-ups and/or growth stage companies is a plus
Company Structure – This person would report into the CEO and work closely with the CFO. There is a
Director of People (Recruitment and Talent focus) and a Contract Recruiter that would both report into this
person.
Overall Comp package – $150- $200k Base + Bonus + Equity + Benefits
