Job Description:

The HTK, Sr. Training Specialist supports training, workforce capability, operational readiness, performance improvement, and knowledge management for HTK Operations. Working with the Principal Training & Performance Partner and business stakeholders, this role translates operational, technology and regulatory needs into practical solutions that improve employee readiness and effectiveness.  


Key Responsibilities 

  • Translate HTK Operations business, technology, regulatory, and workforce needs into actionable training and readiness plans in partnership with the Principal Training & Performance Partner.  
  • Design, develop, deliver, and maintain blended learning, job aids, communications, assessments, and point-of-need performance support using adult learning and instructional design principles. 
  • Facilitate training and learning activities for employees, leaders, subject matter experts, and business trainers; apply feedback and performance data to continuously improve solutions. 
  • Support readiness for technology and workflow changes by coordinating learning materials, pilots, rollout activities, reinforcement, and measurement.  
  • Develop and maintain structured onboarding, role-based learning plans, systems and regulatory training, proficiency assessments and cross-training resources.  
  • Apply and reinforce established knowledge management and Shelf governance standards; monitor content accuracy, currency, ownership, usability, and review status. 
  • Partner with Operations and Quality to analyze performance trends, errors, audit findings, and risks; recommend and evaluate training or performance improvements.  
  • Independently manage assigned initiatives, coordinate stakeholders and dependencies, communicate progress and risks, and escalate significant issues as appropriate.  
  • Use Microsoft 365, learning technologies, and AI-enabled tools to enhance training, content, technical writing, analysis, and knowledge management.  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Financial Services, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered. 
  • 5+ years of relevant training, performance consulting, organizational development, operational readiness, knowledge management, or related experience.  
  • 5+ years of Broker-Dealer and/or RIA experience with knowledge of brokerage operations such as New Accounts, Cashiering, Trading, Commissions, Licensing, Operations Controls, advisor support, or supervision.  
  • Strong instructional design, facilitation, adult-learning, communication, analytical, influencing, and project-management skills; ability to independently manage assigned initiatives and multiple priorities.  
  • Experience translating complex operational, regulatory, technical, and business requirements into practical learning and performance-support solutions. 
  • Ability to build stakeholder alignment, drive follow-through, and influence outcomes without direct authority. 
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, learning technologies such as Articulate 360, and AI-enabled tools, including Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and similar platforms. 


Preferred 

  • Experience with Docupace, NetX360, Envestnet, HUB, FIS, Shelf, or comparable financial services and knowledge management platforms. 
  • Experience supporting Broker-Dealer or Registered Investment Adviser operations; financial services licenses (e.g., Series 7, 63, 65, or comparable licenses) are a plus. 

Base Salary Range - $80,000 - $100,000
