We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. The HR Assistant will assist with employee records, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll coordination, employee communications, and general HR activities.
The ideal candidate is professional, approachable, organized, and capable of handling confidential employee information with discretion and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel records and HR databases.
- Assist with recruiting activities, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Coordinate new-hire onboarding and assist with completion of required employment paperwork.
- Prepare employee files, forms, letters, reports, and other HR documentation.
- Assist with employee orientation and onboarding activities.
- Respond to routine employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and company programs.
- Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and related employee documentation.
- Coordinate with payroll to ensure employee information, time records, and status changes are accurate.
- Track employee attendance, time-off requests, and other personnel information as assigned.
- Maintain HR calendars, schedules, and important deadlines.
- Assist with performance review and employee development processes.
- Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and correspondence.
- Assist with employment verification and other authorized personnel requests.
- Maintain compliance with company HR policies and applicable employment requirements.
- Assist with employee communications, meetings, training sessions, and company events.
- Maintain accurate records of training, certifications, and required documentation.
- Ensure confidential employee information is securely maintained.
- Assist HR management with special projects and departmental initiatives.
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous administrative, HR, recruiting, office, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Proficiency with computers and standard office software.

Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience.
- Experience with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, payroll systems, or employee databases.

- Basic knowledge of HR policies and employment practices.
