Our AM&R team delivers enterprise asset management transformations, helping clients modernize their maintenance, reliability, and operations functions through IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and adjacent technologies.

THE WORK:

You will serve as the primary technical authority for IBM MAS deployments, leading architecture decisions across the full MAS ecosystem:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 8/9 and all subcomponents – including Manage, Mobile, Monitor, Health, Predict, Visual Inspection, MongoDB, Suite Licensing Service (SLS), IBM Db2, and Certificate Manager – with expertise in air-gap (disconnected) installation scenarios
  • Lead and automate MAS CLI-based deployments on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), developing repeatable automation frameworks and deployment runbooks
  • Architect and deploy multi-environment MAS landscapes (Dev / Test / UAT / Prod) including AppPoint sharing strategies via SLS topology design
  • Advise and collaborate with client cloud teams on MAS deployments across AWS, Azure, Azure Government (.gov), and IBM Cloud, with working familiarity of Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Design and implement IBM MAS Manage database tiers using DB2, Oracle, and SQL Server – covering sizing, Maximo-specific configuration, index optimization, and performance tuning
  • Architect and manage IBM MAS Manage CI/CD pipelines leveraging Collections and Package Manager integrated with Git-based repositories (GitHub, Azure Repos, Bitbucket) for automated build, test, and deployment of configurations and customizations
  • Drive issue resolution through IBM support channels, authoring and managing PMR/Case tickets with structured problem documentation, log analysis, and escalation management

You will lead and mentor technical teams throughout project delivery:

  • Lead delivery teams of technical architects, consultants, and client IT staff across MAS implementation workstreams
  • Define and enforce technical standards, deployment checklists, and architecture governance across engagements
  • Coach junior architects and consultants on MAS architecture patterns, OpenShift operations, and IBM support best practices
  • Partner with project managers and functional leads to translate business requirements into technical architecture decisions

You will also, throughout your work, have opportunities to:

  • Support client sales origination, RFP responses, and solution architecture for new IBM MAS opportunities
  • Contribute to Accenture’s IBM MAS technical community of practice, developing reusable assets, accelerators, and point of view documents
  • Drive a positive impact in the communities where we work and live

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience (minimum 10 years’ relevant experience)

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • experience working with client cloud teams to deploy IBM MAS on two or more of the following platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Azure Government (.gov), Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, or Oracle Cloud
