This is a hybrid position where you'll be required to be in office at least three days a week with the flexibility to work from home the remaining days if desired.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Implementation Engineer (internal position title is Product Engineer) to collaborate with internal teams and clients in deploying complex and productized solutions for our proprietary software, FacilityOS. Reporting to the VP, Product Engineering, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, testing, and deploying a diverse range of solutions, including data integrations, workflows, and software configurations. Focusing on customer projects, the incumbent will manage integrations with 3rd party software such as HR systems, active directories, single sign-on, ERP systems, locker systems and others. They will also configure complex workflows through setting up automations and custom SQL queries within the product. As part of our Professional Services department, the Product Engineering team sees ideas from concept all the way to implementation, initially without the need for new feature development, and with a goal of future productization by developing well-built solutions that can be widely deployed. Acting as a technical authority, the product engineering team not only assists with support escalations but also empowers the implementation team to successfully deploy new and evolving solutions.

The ideal candidate should have three or more years of SQL experience and one or more years of C# .NET, or related experience, and knowledge of databases and how they integrate with other platforms. The successful applicant should possess strong problem-solving abilities, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Performance is measured by quality of work, timeliness of deliverables, adherence to scope, rapport with clients and colleagues, and proficiency in various project types and technical areas, including FacilityOS.


Primary Responsibilities and Opportunity

  • Use SQL Integration Services, Python, Azure Logic Apps, and related to implement and deploy data integrations

  • Utilize our proprietary software, FacilityOS, to implement solutions, which may include authoring custom SQL queries

  • Participate in regular team cadences, including sprint planning and daily standups

  • Collaborate with department members, other departments, and development staff to serve clients

  • Provide troubleshooting and break/fix support of the work product of the Product Engineering team

  • Develop unit tests, test, and train on solutions and deployments

  • Evolve into a knowledgeable resource throughout the organization

  • Utilize Jira to track project work

  • Employ ZenDesk to monitor and respond to support tickets

  • Rare occurrence of travel to client locations for on-site software installation, configuration, and training

  • Up to 2 days work from home after initial onboarding and learning phase

Qualifications

  • 2+ years SQL or similar experience

  • 1+ years C# .NET or similar experience

  • 1+ years in related experience

  • Strong knowledge of databases and how to integrate them with other platforms

Nice to haves

  • ETL, SSIS, Azure Logic Apps, Restful API experience

  • Python, C#, Visual Studio, Git, SAML2 experience

  • Unit testing creation experience

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or related major
