The Incentive Compensation (IC) Administration team is responsible for administering KeyBank's incentive compensation plans. This includes ensuring the accurate calculation and disbursement of pay, effectively communicating incentive plan information, maintaining the NICE Incentive Compensation System (NICE), and providing training to users across the enterprise.

Job Summary
This position serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for non-pay impacting processes within Incentive Compensation Administration.
Essential Functions

  • Produce and analyze IC Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and related reporting.
  • Maintain the inventory, usage, and cleanliness of NICE reports.
  • Manage the review and approval process for IC procedures.
  • Create and maintain processes and procedures for IC processing.
  • Lead project management for small team projects or system testing initiatives.
  • Coordinate or develop documentation for NICE system enhancement requests and issues.
  • Oversee NICE access request queues, including user creation and deletion.
  • Manage IC communication bulletins through the NICE system.
  • Create annual pay calendars.
  • Develop user training materials.
  • Conduct SOX compliance and risk and control initiatives.
  • Provide support to other Incentive Compensation Analysts to ensure the accurate processing of Incentive Compensation pay disbursements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
  • Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, always acting professionally, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree HR, Finance or Information Technology (preferred)
  • OR equivalent experience (required)

Work Experience

  • 1+ years experience in banking and or financial services (preferred)
  • 1+ years experience in incentive compensation administration systems (preferred)

Skills

  • Ability to use Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft applications to manage data and reporting tasks.
  • Ability to interpret data and identify trends or discrepancies in incentive compensation.
  • Ability to break down and document workflows into clear, sequential steps.
  • Ability to organize work tasks into simple timelines or project plans.
  • Lead small projects.
  • Understanding of internal controls and risk management practices related to compensation.
  • Ability to identify and suggest enhancements to existing workflows and procedures.
  • Works with senior analysts and other departments to support compensation operations.
  • Able to take on new tasks and adjust to changes in responsibilities or systems.

  • General Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $57,000.00 - $87,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
