The Just Markets Institute is a 501(c)3 educational non-profit founded in 2024 by Alex Thompson to teach economics with a focus on sustainability, equitability, and efficiency. We believe a general economics education has the highest return on investment to help people solve many of the world's most critical collective action problems, such as climate change, disease prevention, poverty, war, hunger, and many more national and local issues such as corruption, homelessness, and crime.
About our 2025 Spring Student Internship ProgramJust Markets Institute's internship program is designed to give students an opportunity to show off their abilities in a public manner while helping make the world a better place! JMI Student Internships are entirely project based to match the requirements of your spring internship course.
