About the role:

WireScreen is expanding its coverage of the semiconductor industry and we’re hiring a specialized analyst to own this area. You’ll be our internal and external subject matter expert, providing deep analysis and research of the industry’s key players, technologies, supply chains, and major developments. This role reports directly to the COO.

What You’ll Do:
  • Research, analyze, and map the global semiconductor industry and its subsectors from end-to-end

  • Keep our industry knowledge up-to-date by attending conferences, reading industry publications and speaking with other experts to identify significant developments

  • As the subject-matter expert, work closely with our product and engineering teams to improve coverage of the semiconductor and related industries in the WireScreen platform

  • Write reports for a variety of audiences including our customers, prospective customers, and internal stakeholders on key industry topics

What we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline

  • 3+ years of experience writing about or researching the semiconductor industry

  • Deep knowledge of and passion for the semiconductor industry and its supply chain

Nice to have:
  • Master's degree

  • Published reports, articles, or research on the semiconductor industry that you’re able to share as part of the application process

  • Experience mapping supply chains at the input/technology level

  • Experience using OSINT research methods

  • Have presented research findings externally — at conferences, in publications, or to outside audiences
