Manage end-to-end influencer and creator partnerships for social-first campaigns, including sourcing, outreach, contracts, briefs, deliverables, content review, deadlines, invoicing, usage rights, and performance tracking. Collaborate with creative, strategy, production, and client teams to ensure high-quality, on-brand assets. Monitor social trends, TikTok culture, competitive activity, and FTC compliance while supporting campaign ideation and creator relationship development.
We’re looking for a Freelance Influencer Marketing Manager to identify, recruit, and coordinate talent for our social-first campaign work (organic, paid, and always on). This is a remote Freelance opportunity that may vary in weekly hours on one or more client accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creator Sourcing & Talent Management
- End-to-end creator management inclusive of identifying, recruiting and outreaching to talent, managing contract negotiations/redlines, budgets, content review and guiding influencers/creators with their deliverables
- Build and cultivate relationships with creators, influencers, managers, and agents
- Source UGC and creator talent using platforms like IMAI and your professional network
- Maintain a vetted, organized creator roster across paid organic social needs
- Match creators to briefs based on brand, tone, platform, and content requirements
- Build positive, professional relationships with creators to support long-term collaboration
- Support our internal “Movers+Creators” program which houses creators across various areas that M+S will tap into for quick turnaround programs
Creator Communication & Coordination
- Manage all creator communication end-to-end, including:
- Outreach and onboarding
- Brief delivery and clarification
- Deadlines and deliverable expectations
- Follow-ups and reminders
- Ensure creators clearly understand briefs, content requirements, and brand guidelines
- Proactively flag risks, delays, or misalignment to internal teams
- Coordinate product samples as needed
Deliverables, Deadlines & Quality Control
- Responsive to the unpredictable 24/7 nature of social media campaign execution
- Set and manage creator deliverables, timelines, and submission requirements
- Ensure accurate tracking of creator activity, deliverables, and performance data.
- Monitor content to ensure assets are:
- Complete
- High-quality
- On-brief
- Delivered on time
- Coordinate reshoots, corrections, missing lines, or pronunciation fixes as needed
- Ensure creators submit footage in the correct formats and specs for paid and organic use
Contracts, Invoicing & Asset Tracking
- Coordinate creator contracts, usage terms, and approvals
- Ensure invoicing details are clear, accurate, and submitted on time
- Track asset delivery status and usage rights across paid and organic channels
- Partner with internal teams to ensure assets are stored, labeled, and accessible
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate and work cross-functionally with Creative, Strategy, Production and Business Partnership teams to ensure influencer initiatives are aligned with wider campaign and client goals.
- Ensure creator outputs align with strategic intent, brand voice, and platform needs
Trends & Culture
- Stay up to date on the latest influencer marketing trends across all social media platforms, with an emphasis on TikTok and FTC compliance requirements
- Regularly analyze the competition and other best-in-class brands to inspire new ideas and executions – especially in new platform innovations
- Contribute to team brainstorms and creative campaign ideation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience managing influencer & creator partnerships of all following sizes
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Clear, confident written communication
- Familiarity with short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
- Ability to manage multiple creators and deadlines simultaneously
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in Creator Marketing/Influencer Marketing on social-first campaigns
- Experience working with a wide variety of creators & influencers across a variety of categories (from nano creators to Macro creators)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple timelines, campaigns, and creator relationships simultaneously
- Resourceful, proactive self-starter comfortable taking initiative in fast-paced environments
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, particularly in creator-facing contexts
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and support senior leaders
- Deep passion for TikTok; experience with TikTok influencers a big plus but not required
- Passion for delighting clients and going above & beyond
- Keen eye for detail with the foresight to think about the bigger picture
- Deeply curious and passionate about the creator economy, with a pulse on major trends and shifts within the industry
