Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Senior Manager to lead Wise’s influencer strategy across North America. Based in our Austin office alongside the North American regional team, you will report to the Global Influencer Team in London and connect global strategy with strong regional execution.

You will be accountable for the overall direction and performance of the North American influencer channel. Your remit will span three core priorities: owning the overarching strategy for North America, supporting our US Influencer Manager; directly leading and scaling our influencer activity in Canada; and developing our influencer strategy for Wise Business.

Responsibilities

North America Strategy and Leadership

  • Own the North American influencer strategy, setting clear priorities across the US and Canada.
  • Build annual and quarterly plans covering audiences, creators, channels and investment.
  • Own regional forecasting and budget recommendations, using performance insights to scale opportunities, improve efficiency and redirect investment.
  • Represent influencer marketing in regional planning and bring North American insights into our global strategy.

Market Growth

  • Directly own and scale Wise’s influencer strategy in Canada, from market planning and creator identification through to execution and optimisation.
  • Support the existing US Influencer Manager with strategic direction and opportunity sizing while they retain ownership of market execution.
  • Build a locally relevant Canadian programme and test new propositions, formats and partnerships to define the market’s long-term growth roadmap.
  • Ensure all North American influencer activity follows applicable regulatory, disclosure, brand-safety and procurement requirements.
  • Manage senior relationships with relevant agencies, creator partners, platforms and tools to improve programme quality and scale.

Wise Business Influencer Strategy

  • Develop and lead the global influencer strategy for Wise Business, beginning in North America and defining the role creators can play in reaching and converting business customers.
  • Identify priority audiences and creator segments, and partner with the Wise Business team on positioning and messaging.
  • Run structured tests to determine which creators, messages, formats and commercial models drive qualified customers, using the results to build a scalable roadmap.

Qualifications

  • You have extensive influencer marketing experience across the US and Canada, with a track record of building programmes that drive measurable customer growth
  • You focus on meaningful insights and the metrics that drive real impact.
  • You can set a clear regional strategy while remaining close enough to execution to understand what is working.
  • You have experience marketing to small businesses, entrepreneurs or freelancers.
  • You are commercially and analytically strong, with experience managing budgets, forecasts and performance.
  • You are an effective cross-functional collaborator who can connect regional and global teams around shared priorities.
  • You are comfortable operating within a global reporting structure while being embedded in a regional team, and you can connect both groups through clear communication and shared priorities.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience building influencer or ambassador programmes in fintech, financial services or another regulated industry.
  • Affiliate or performance-partnership experience.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing marketers.
  • French-language skills or experience marketing in Quebec; proficiency in other languages is also valuable.

Additional Information

  • Workplace Model: This is a hybrid role requiring office presence (at least 3 days); it is not a fully remote position. During your first 3 months in the role, you will be expected to be 100% in the office.
