Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Information/Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biomarker and clinical data pipelines, data analysis, and data profiling, with proven expertise in managing and analyzing biological and genomic data. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, building, and executing terminology libraries, ensuring end-to-end data integrity across our products. You will help organize and represent clinical knowledge within our content management platform, supporting knowledge bases built from or aligned with industry-standard controlled vocabularies, value sets, and ontologies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work cross-functionally to perform source-to-target mappings between incoming data (ex. EHR) and our data model

  • Help develop scalable models to automate mapping source-to-target data

  • Evaluate and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability

  • Contribute to the development and extension of ontologies, vocabularies, and data standards that underpin our platform

  • Identify and evaluate informatics tools, databases, and content sources to enhance the product user experience

  • Perform quality control checks and become proficient in querying data stored in our regulatory-grade platform

  • Provide critical input into the design of data architectures, algorithms, and analysis workflows

Who You Are:

  • Strong expertise in bioinformatics, clinical data science, or a related field.

  • Experience with biomarker and/or genomic ontologies or terminologies

  • Familiarity with healthcare ontologies or terminologies (ICD, SNOMED, LOINC, et al)

  • Experience with evaluating and ensuring data quality (e.g., completeness, accuracy)

  • Possess a collaborative mindset, an eagerness to learn, and a high integrity work ethic

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with oncology research or clinical genomic applications

  • Experience with data science tools, programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
