As an Acquisition Account Executive, you'll focus on acquiring new clients through cold calling, demos, and relationship building, with a monthly sales quota.

At Pair Eyewear, we believe in placing our people at the center of everything we do. We are dedicated to fostering a joyful and dynamic workplace, providing our employees with an environment where they can thrive and make a meaningful impact.

Pair Eyewear is hiring our first Inside Sales Account Executive to help build and scale our B2B presence within the Independent wholesale eyewear market. This is a hybrid role - part business development, part account manager - and a cornerstone position on our new go-to-market team.

You’ll work closely with leadership to define and execute our outbound and account management strategy, while also directly owning a portfolio of high-potential doors. As the first hire in this vertical, you'll have autonomy, ownership, and a direct impact on shaping the future of how we engage and service 5,000+ accounts over the next three years.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow a portfolio of independent B2B customers (Optometrists, Opticians and ophthalmologists).

  • Build relationships virtually - check in on account performance, offer new product solutions, and provide support that drives retention and growth (this is supported by a first-in-class digital marketing strategy never seen before in optical).

  • Design and execute outreach strategies to acquire new accounts via telesales, email, and digital engagement (not door-to-door).

  • Create an inside sales cycle with your accounts based on growth potential and overall value.

  • Achieve KPIs through our performance dashboards and account playbooks.

  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to tailor offers and support for your accounts.

  • Identify operational or product feedback from accounts to help inform cross-functional improvements.

  • Co-create a scalable sales and account management framework alongside Wholesale leadership.

  • Handle return conversations from accounts and help deal with customer warranties.

Who You Are

  • Experience in attaining quarterly targets and working within budgets.

  • Proven success selling into small businesses, independent professionals, or practices.

  • Modern approach to sales helping customers with marketing, education and customer service for their business.

  • Comfortable working remotely and engaging customers virtually.

  • Strong communicator - able to connect with people, build trust, and solve problems proactively.

  • Strategic thinker who’s excited to help build processes, playbooks, and teams.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and resourceful - a builder, not just an operator.

Need to Have

  • 3–6 years in sales, account management, or business development - ideally in D2C-adjacent B2B industries (eyewear, dental, veterinary, private healthcare, pharma, FMCG, CPG)

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the optical, dental, veterinary, or healthcare retail industries

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, telesales, and customer lifecycle strategies

  • Experience in early-stage startups or GTM teams

Why Join Us?

  • Work on a unicorn-status product disrupting an antiquated industry

  • Be a foundational team member in a fast-growing channel

  • High autonomy, real ownership, and a chance to shape GTM strategy

  • Competitive compensation and benefits

  • Opportunity to grow into leadership as the team scales

Ready to change the way people see the world — literally?
Apply now and be part of something big.
