About the role

The Inside Sales Associate is a fully virtual/remote role that operates alongside the field-based Practice Partnership Manager (PPM) team. Where PPMs own in person, geography based territories, this role owns a book of non-PPM owned accounts and is responsible for engaging and growing that portfolio remotely.

This person is also a flex resource for the broader Sales & Partnerships team: warming up new markets ahead of a PPM hire, securing and scheduling meetings for PPMs, and covering territories when a PPM is out.

What you'll do

    • Own and grow a virtual book of business — engage non-PPM owned accounts that are organically referring or under referring, with the goal of increasing referral volume and consistency.
    • Virtual selling & relationship building — build trust with OBGYN practices (physicians, office managers, referral coordinators, front desk) entirely over phone, email, and video; understands how to run a "total office call" without being in the room.
    • CRM & lead management — maintain clean CRM records, manage and respond to incoming leads promptly, and record activity and  KPI’s promptly.
    • Referral triage & attribution — review all incoming S&P team referrals to determine source and attribution, and use that triage to identify outreach opportunities for your book of business as well as the entire S&P team (e.g., which staff member to engage, how account heard of and referred to Seven Starling, what follow up is most effective).
    • S&P team resource management - Manage and maintain S&P resource center, collateral, and marketing hub. Assist the PPM team with material orders and shipping when needed and update approved marketing resources.
    • Opportunity identification & prioritization — analyze the book of business to identify and quantify opportunity (e.g., accounts with rising referral trends, dormant accounts, high-potential but under-engaged practices) and prioritize time accordingly.
    • Creative engagement pathways — design and run virtual engagement motions (email cadences, virtual meetings,, phone check-ins, webinars) tailored to account tier and trajectory, since this role can't rely on in person meetings.
    • New market Launch and support — warm up new/pre-launch markets ahead of a PPM being hired; help build initial pipeline and relationships remotely so the incoming PPM has a running start.
    • PPM team support — Assist with sales operations support including scheduling meetings and lunches for PPMs, help manage their CRM hygiene where needed, and cover a PPM's territory (virtually) while they are out (PTO, leave, transition periods). Assist with data projects, tool and dashboard management, and progress reporting for Sales Ops lead.

Who you are

  • At least 1+ years experience in inside or remote sales or business development, preferably in healthcare (experience with women’s health and/or mental health preferred)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Natural relationship-builder that thrives on making new connections and opening doors across all levels of an organization
  • Outstanding verbal and written communicator with the ability to effectively tailor the value of our offering to each audience’s unique needs
  • Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous, and fluid environment where new situations are the norm
  • Strong attention to detail and love for organization; proficiency with CRM tools (hubspot experience preferred)
  • Creative and collaborative team player, excited by the opportunity to work with a passionate, mission-driven team

Must haves

  • 1+ years in sales — inside sales, virtual account management, SDR/AE, or relevant healthcare adjacent role
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred, preferably in a startup; prior exposure to OBGYN/PCP clinics, referral based sales, or a similarly relationship driven virtual sales motion
  • Comfortable operating fully remote — no field travel requirement for this role
  • Experience successfully opening new markets and growing stagnant  accounts
