Build a Brilliant Future with Corix, a Hiscox Company:
The Insurance Product Implementation Manager at Corix, a Hiscox Company, plays a pivotal role in bringing insurance products to life. You will lead the execution of new product launches and enhancements to existing offerings, ensuring they are delivered to market in a consistent, timely, and compliant manner. Acting as the single point of accountability for implementation, you will coordinate across actuarial, engineering, design, compliance, finance, and go-to-market teams to transform defined product strategies into fully operational, launch-ready solutions.
In this role, you won’t just manage timelines — you will drive momentum. You will translate business requirements into clear, executable delivery plans; anticipate risks before they become obstacles; and ensure every detail meets a high standard of quality and operational readiness. By bringing structure, clarity, and ownership to the implementation process, you will directly accelerate speed-to-market, reduce inefficiencies, and enable Corix to scale with confidence. Your impact will be visible in every successful product launch.
The Team:
Corix is a start-up within Hiscox that builds innovative insurance technology products and platforms that streamline underwriting and policy servicing, unlock actionable insights, and elevate the digital experience for our brokers and customers. Corix operates as an independent, product-led company while progressively integrating into Hiscox to help transform its business model to be more technology-forward and customer-centric.
We leverage agile, outcome-based delivery with cross-functional teams aligned to key business capabilities and shared architectural standards. As we scale within the Hiscox group, we are focused on modernizing core systems and workflows, expanding our suite of digital insurance products, and continuously adapting to evolving market, regulatory, and technology trends to drive sustainable, profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Insurance Product Implementation Ownership:
Own and manage the full implementation lifecycle for insurance product launches, from initiation through market release, ensuring delivery milestones are met and launch readiness criteria are satisfied.
2. Cross-Functional Coordination:
Work closely with actuarial, insurance innovation, engineering, design, compliance, finance, and go-to-market teams to gather and clarify requirements, coordinate workstreams, and resolve delivery issues.
3. Execution of Product and Business Priorities:
Ensure product implementations are delivered in line with established business priorities, sequencing, and release plans, without responsibility for defining product strategy or market direction.
4. Delivery Planning, Project, and Timeline Management:
Develop and maintain implementation plans, manage dependencies, and hold teams and individuals accountable to agreed timelines and deliverables, ensuring clear ownership and effective hand-offs.
5. Implementation Standards and Runbooks:
Develop, document, and continuously improve a scalable product implementation runbook to support consistent, repeatable delivery as the organization grows.
6. Engineering Delivery Oversight:
Coordinate engineering work related to policy forms, pricing, underwriting rules, and authority, ensuring requirements are complete, testing responsibilities are clear, and rework is minimized.
7. Compliance, Reporting, and Operational Readiness:
Partner with actuarial, finance, compliance, and data teams to ensure regulatory, reporting, and operational requirements are incorporated into each product implementation.
Business Impact:
1. Improved delivery reliability:
Increase predictability and consistency of insurance product launches by establishing clear ownership and disciplined execution.
2. Faster speed-to-market:
Reduce delivery delays caused by unclear requirements, fragmented ownership, and rework.
3. Operational efficiency:
Enable engineering, actuarial, and product teams to focus on their core responsibilities by centralizing implementation management.
4. Scalable growth enablement:
Support growth through repeatable, well-governed implementation processes that scale with the business.
Qualifications and Skills:
3–7 years of experience in implementation management, project management, or delivery roles within insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries.
Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple dependencies.
Strong planning, organizational, and execution skills with a proven ability to deliver work to schedule.
Clear, concise communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
A structured, proactive approach to identifying and mitigating delivery risks.
Experience working with insurance products, underwriting workflows, policy forms, or insurance technology platforms.
Hiscox Values:
At Hiscox our spirit is in Challenging Convention and everything we do is guided by our Values.
Courage: Do the right thing however hard

Integrity: True to our word
Excellence in Execution: Consistent, timely, efficient delivery

We insure the unique and the interesting. And we search for the same when it comes to talented people. Hiscox is full of smart, reliable human beings that look out for customers and each other. We believe in doing the right thing, making good and rebuilding when things go wrong. Everyone is encouraged to think creatively, challenge the status quo and look for solutions.
Scratch beneath the surface and you will find a business that is solid, but slightly contrary. We like to do things differently and constantly seek to evolve. We might have been around for a long time (our roots go back to 1901), but we are young in many ways, ambitious and going places. Some people might say insurance is dull, but life at Hiscox is anything but. If that sounds good to you, get in touch.
