Barstool Sports is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented college student to join our Integrated Marketing team for a summer internship. As an Integrated Marketing Intern, you will help with strategic management, market positioning, and assist in the development of Barstool’s custom offerings for advertising partners. 

The ideal candidate is positive, organized, and proactive. They thrive in a fast-paced environment and feel excited about crafting a compelling story. This role will support and specialize in pre-sale marketing, helping to manage collateral for RFP responses, content ideation, data collection, and will create general presentation materials in support of all of Barstool’s franchises and platforms. This internship runs from May 26 to August 28 and will be based out of the New York office.

What You'll Do:

  • Become an expert in all things Barstool. You’ll develop an encyclopedic knowledge of our franchises, platforms, events, talent, and content — and will learn to translate that knowledge into pitches for potential and existing advertising sponsors & partners 
  • Contribute to the brainstorm process, taking notes and coming up with creative solutions for sponsorship and custom ideas for RFPs & advertiser pitches 
  • Support the marketing team during the pre-sale process of sponsorships and custom brand programs, including RFPs, materials for client meetings and proactive pitches, ensuring all collateral and concepts align with the respective brand and are approved by all appropriate parties 
  • Align materials with telling the individual stories of each franchise 
  • Collect data that will help the marketing team in the pitch process 
  • Organize & update existing collateral and create new materials that aid in the pitch process like photo libraries, audience data, talent one-sheets, and more 
  • Help create case studies of past activations and partnerships for future pitches
  • Work out of the NYC office 4 days a week 

Who You Are:

  • Rising senior in college, all majors welcome
  • A self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who brings a curiosity for learning, as well as a willingness to experiment, iterate, and adapt to changing environments and feedback 
  • Someone with a general knowledge of Barstool Sports & the media industry 
  • Experienced in Powerpoint and Google Suite, with an understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and content marketing 
  • Highly organized — you have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously 

Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
