Job Description

Job title :- integration engineer (fix protocol )

Location : new York city, NY


Description:-

This position is for a FIX Engineer

- At least 5 years of experience in integration engineering using FIX protocol in mission critical environments
- Proven experience of creating effective system solutions, including research, proof-of-concept and advocating proposed solutions to the project teams and management
- Prior experience working in fast-pace, high demand environment as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills and teamwork
- Ability to work without supervision, lead certain initiatives within a project, prioritize and escalate when required
- Extensive prior experience designing, implementing and managing FIX communication infrastructure is a must
- Extensive prior experience designing , implementing and supporting system interface solutions based on FIX protocol is a must
- Demonstrated knowledge of technology players in financial services industry, common solution standards and practices is a must
- Experience or working knowledge of real-time market data delivery systems (e.g. Reuters RMDS) is a plus
- Demonstrated understanding of system security best practices
- Solid experience in Unix shell and Perl scripting
- Experience in system tuning and performance testing
