What You'll Lead & Influence
- Shape how Bose products should behave, respond, connect, adapt, and emotionally resonate.
- Recharter our UX / interaction design capability based on the future adoption of AI, both in how we prototype new experiences to delight consumers and streamline execution in the portfolio.
- Collaborate with closely with Portfolio Strategy, Product Design, Product Management and Consumer Experience to both conceptualize and execute our interaction design for the Bose portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Define future product interaction principles for our premium consumer portfolio.
- Create UX provocations, concept narratives and interaction design prototypes
- Partner with product category leaders to strengthen 3-year roadmaps with differentiated interaction possibilities
Partner with Portfolio Strategy, Consumer Experience, and Design to connect evidence with UX direction - Help category leaders make future choices more tangible through prototyping
- Translate consumer research, competitive intelligence, and emerging technology into UX prototypes
- Strengthen an Interaction Design capability focused on physical-digital interaction, AI-enabled experiences and third-party ecosystems.
- Develop executive-ready storytelling that makes future interaction choices for the portfolio clear and compelling.
Who You Are
- An interaction design leader with experience bridging digital and physical experiences
- Experienced working with product, brand, research, engineering, and design partners.
- Comfortable influencing without taking ownership away from business leaders.
- Able to inspire bold thinking while respecting execution realities, leading the UX team through product launches
- Skilled at creating artifacts that make interaction tangible: prototypes and product narratives
- Energized by ambiguity, emerging technology, consumer behavior shifts, and shaping an interaction design capability
Preferred Experience
- +10 years of experience across interaction design, innovation, or multidisciplinary design leadership.
- Experience working with premium, iconic, lifestyle, fashion, or audio-adjacent brands.
- Demonstrated success translating consumer insight and emerging tech into interaction designs
