Job Description

We Are Brookfield Properties:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join Brookfield Properties in New York City as a Development Intern for Summer 2025. Our internship program lasts 10 weeks and offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the commercial real estate development industry. The intern will work closely with our development team on various projects and will be exposed to all aspects of the development process.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial models and feasibility studies
• Conduct market research and gather data on real estate trends and demographics
• Support the project management team in coordinating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Help prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor project progress
• Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications:

• Rising senior working towards a degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance & Investments, Urban Planning, or a related field
• Minimum GPA requirement 3.3
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Passion for real estate development and a desire to learn
• Must be available to work onsite throughout the duration of the internship
