About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, detail-obsessed Copy Intern to join our Creative Team at e.l.f. Cosmetics! You’ll help bring our brand voice to life across e.l.f. Cosmetics and e.l.f. SKIN—writing sharp, witty, and on-brand copy for everything from emails and social posts to packaging and digital campaigns. Working alongside a Senior Copywriter, you’ll collaborate closely with our design and project management teams to make sure every word shines.
Responsibilities:
- Support Senior Copywriters in concepting and writing copy for marketing assets (emails, social, site, PDPs, paid media, packaging, and more)
- Write in e.l.f.’s signature tone of voice—bold, inclusive, and playful
- Apply feedback to refine copy and deliver on creative briefs
- Partner with project management to stay on schedule and meet deadlines
- Proofread and fact-check all copy before delivery
Requirements:
- A passion for storytelling and creative writing
- Strong awareness of pop culture, internet trends, and beauty conversations
- Interest in skincare and makeup—products, ingredients, and what’s trending
- Highly engaged on social platforms and up to date on what’s next in beauty
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
