Havas Street, a subsidiary of Havas—one of the world’s largest global communications groups, is the brand activation division of Havas Formula that is headquartered in Los Angeles. We believe that in order for a brand to truly differentiate itself in the marketplace, it has to be brave. It takes bravery to push through the cluttered crowd to emotionally connect with consumers, who want to understand the story behind your brand and where they fit in. This requires you to move beyond conventional thinking and traditional marketing approaches to build that narrative and establish an ownable position for your brand. Brave brands become passion brands. And passion brands become beloved brands.
The Internship is designed for those new to brand activation. The program is a full-time, 4-month-long position with the opportunity for extension and advancement within the company.
Schedule: Must be willing to travel to our Tribeca office. In-office every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Remote Monday, Friday. 9-6pm EST
Compensation is $20.00 per hour, and employees are eligible for overtime.

Events | Special Campaigns

  • Supports in logistical planning for marketing events
  • Researches events, vendors, permits, etc.
  • Develops and manages databases (event scheduling)

Account Management

  • Participates in brainstorms
  • Actively problem solves against account and team needs
  • Tracks media hits and updates activity reports •
  • Executes various client program components
  • Monitors trend/industry news for client coverage and clips placements for account team review

Writing | Editing

  • Helps to create program recaps
  • Drafts event/launch strategy docs, and other client communications

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (communications, liberal arts, business or marketing focus preferred)

Experience: Previous work experience required.

Skills & Abilities: Resourceful and solutions-focused. Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and organizing. Excellent attention to detail. Self-motivated and able to work well in a collaborative environment as well as individually. Effectively manages time, follows up, and is results-driven. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge and familiarity with experiential marketing preferred.
