We are seeking a talented individual to join our Internal Communications team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York City and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.
As an Internal Communications Specialist, you will play a vital role in driving engagement across the global Marsh Risk BCS community by supporting impactful internal communications initiatives. Collaborating closely with the BCS Internal Communications team and key partners, you’ll help craft and deliver clear, consistent messaging that resonates across multiple channels. While this role doesn’t include direct reports, it offers a fantastic chance to develop your internal communications expertise within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

We will count on you to:
- Write, edit, and proofread a range of employee communications, newsletters, and informational materials for internal distribution
- Regularly assess and publish content on communication vehicles (Intranet, newsletters, email, social media, etc.), to ensure on-time, accurate delivery and availability of fresh, updated content
- Contribute to the planning, delivery and measurement of internal communication plans to help support the execution of company strategies and increase employee engagement

- Analyze distribution metrics to measure communication effectiveness.
- Coordinate distribution and tracking of communications, to build appropriate audience profiles and lists and ensures timely delivery and follow-up
- Assist with development and distribution of surveys and the solicitation of feedback from employees to help in measuring employee satisfaction and engagement and evaluating the results of communications plans, campaigns and strategies
- Provide recommendations to improve internal communications by tracking employee understanding and retention, and summarizing employee satisfaction surveys
What you need to have:
- 3 years of experience in an internal communications function
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications or English
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of core internal communications strategies
- Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills,
- Ability to work in a team environment with a client-centric focus, and emotional intelligence
- Proficiency in MS Office
