General Description
Mission Capital, a leading national real estate capital markets solutions provider, is seeking an Intern to join the New York office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone considering commercial real estate finance as a career. The internship will allow you to work in a dynamic and challenging environment and you will gain immediate and excellent exposure to the commercial mortgage brokerage as well as the performing/distressed mortgage loan trading businesses.
Interns will be expected to work up to 20 hours per week and will be paid on an hourly basis. No housing or relocation assistance is available.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creation of investment and financing proposals and offering memorandums.
- Develop insightful market information and statistics via research and review of available materials
- Portfolio stratification and analysis
- Preparation of due diligence materials
- Confidentiality agreement processing/tracking
- Attending weekly investor transaction status reporting
- Ad-hoc projects as needed
Skills and Abilities Required
- Candidate must currently be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Real Estate
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong MS Word, MS Excel analysis and presentation skills
- Ability to learn quickly
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be a team player; willingness to work hard to get the job done.
