theSkimm makes it easier to be smarter. We started as two friends on a couch and have since purchased more couches and gotten new friends, er... employees. Skimm HQ works hard but knows when to take breaks and when it's time to update the Spotify playlist. We drink the kool-aid but know we're drinking it. Through our suite of products, we are disrupting routines and information consumption one Skimm'r at a time. Come join us, we're changing things.

theSkimm’s content team creates the DailySkimm you read, the Skimmed from the Couch podcast you listen to, the calendar events you subscribe to, the Sip n’ Skimms you watch, and the stories you follow. We’re looking for someone who can help the team materialize theSkimm message, supporting our content teams through research, archival management, and creative projects. Come help us Grow This B.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Assisting in editorial research for upcoming content projects
• Assisting on video and photo shoots
• Participating in brainstorms for new inventory
• Helping the content team organize and file creative assets
• Learning about creative strategy across digital platforms

WHAT WOULD SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

• You are passionate about community, content, and digital platforms
• You have experience working in social media
• You have editorial research experience
• You have a strong understanding of theSkimm’s brand
• You are a creative, scrappy, organized self-starter
• You have a desire to learn new skills and get outside your comfort zone
• You are a team player
