As an Analytics Intern, you will join a growing Data & Analytics team that collaborates with business partners across the organization to catalyze business growth by providing robust and relevant analysis, insights and actionable data-guided recommendations. The D&A team is hands-on with a wide variety of datasets, including user data, product behavior data, financial/payment data, upper-funnel marketing data, trust and safety data, and operational/infrastructure data.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Facilitate the transfer and ongoing automation and delivery of standardized data views and dashboards to our new self-service data exploration environment, curated to varying levels of management and leadership.
• Work closely with our Data Engineering team to ensure we have access to the relevant data and datasets that are going to power our new environment.
• Partner with our Business Intelligence engineer to help facilitate the construction of intuitive, user friendly data models.
• Evangelize and facilitate the use of data and insights across teams, including standardized KPIs and consistent measurement methodologies.

What We’ll Expect From You:

• On the path to earning a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative field
• Demonstrable critical thinking and analytical skills, including the ability and confidence to make conclusions and recommendations from data
• Proactive communication skills and track record of setting and executing on clear, realistic deliverable timelines
• Experience building easily digestible data visualizations, dashboards and reports
• Strong Interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships
• Intermediate experience querying data (SQL), and ad hoc analysis (Excel)
• Experience with data modeling in Looker or other BI tool (e.g. Tableau)
• Bonus: Prior experience with Python and/or statistical modeling tools such as R or Matlab.
