About the Role

The Operations Intern will work alongside the Operations team (the VP Finance & GC) in daily activities related to managing the ongoing needs and improvements of the organization. This wide-ranging internship will cover projects across legal, accounting, finance, & operations. 

We run lean as an organization and are looking for those who are interested in gaining experience across a variety of roles in a growing startup. The team is responsible for monitoring various aspects of operational processes, ensuring the existence and effectiveness of controls, maximizing process efficiencies and defining operational requirements relative to strategic and business initiatives.

This internship position is located in New York City, NY. We are currently remote, but depending on external factors there may be some in office work required late in the summer. Before applying, please keep in mind that our internship program does not offer any relocation assistance. 

Responsibilities

• Provides support on projects focusing on: supported operational processes, finance reporting and accounting, customer analytics, contracting and procurement processes, and informational security compliance.
• Support Finance and Legal stakeholders on document management processes. 
• Work to solve real world problems and deliver measurable results
• Special projects as requested
• Performs other duties as assigned
