Are you an experienced investment funds attorney with a passion for hedge fund formation? A prestigious global law firm is seeking a talented Investment Funds Associate to join its industry-leading Hedge Fund Formation practice in either New York or Dallas. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on cutting-edge fund launches and collaborate with top-tier legal professionals in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

About the Role

In this position, you will:

  • Work on hedge fund launches ranging from institutional to emerging managers.

  • Draft and negotiate fund offering and operating documents, including private placement memoranda, limited partnership agreements, investment management agreements, subscription documents, side letters, and separately managed account agreements.

  • Gain exposure to sophisticated clients and high-profile fund matters.

  • Collaborate with a team of forward-thinking legal professionals on complex investment fund projects.

What We’re Looking For

Ideal candidates will have:

  • At least two years of experience working with hedge funds.

  • A solid understanding of the U.S. regulatory regime governing hedge funds.

  • Strong drafting skills; negotiation experience is preferred for more senior associates.

  • Bonus: Experience with seed deals, hybrid funds, closed-end funds, or investor-side representation (not required).
