Investment Funds Associate – Hedge Funds (NY or Dallas)

A prestigious global law firm is seeking a talented Investment Funds Associate to join its industry-leading Hedge Fund Formation practice in either New York or Dallas. About the RoleIn this position, you will:
Work on hedge fund launches ranging from institutional to emerging managers.
Draft and negotiate fund offering and operating documents, including private placement memoranda, limited partnership agreements, investment management agreements, subscription documents, side letters, and separately managed account agreements.
Gain exposure to sophisticated clients and high-profile fund matters.
Collaborate with a team of forward-thinking legal professionals on complex investment fund projects.
Ideal candidates will have:
At least two years of experience working with hedge funds.
A solid understanding of the U.S. regulatory regime governing hedge funds.
Strong drafting skills; negotiation experience is preferred for more senior associates.
Bonus: Experience with seed deals, hybrid funds, closed-end funds, or investor-side representation (not required).
