Job Description

A top rated law firm is seeking an experienced patent litigation associates for their New York office as they continue to grow their high tech and medical device focused practice. 50 attorneys of the firm are ranked in 2014 edition, and the firm’s presence in the highly-regarded national attorney directory has more than doubled in the last five years.The firm is ranked among the country’s top 25 law firms for associate satisfaction. The firm also received its seventh consecutive perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Corporate Equality Index. This is the second consecutive year that the top rated firm has been recognized for environmental law in the Acquisitions International Legal Awards.

Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have 2 to 3 years of IP Litigation experience and must have a strong educational background, including a JD from a top-tier law school and a B.S. in electrical engineering or an equivalent discipline (e.g., computer science or physics) from a top-tier engineering school. Candidates must be detail oriented and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Admission to the NY bar (or ability to sit for it) is required. USPTO admission is preferred but not required.
